Extreme Networks has introduced its Platform One, which merges conversational AI, multimodal capabilities, and agentic AI into a unified enterprise networking solution. Initially announced in December 2024 and showcased at the Extreme Connect 2025 conference, the platform is now being utilized by over 130 organizations worldwide. Responding to enterprise feedback, the platform aims to simplify AI's integration with networking, offering real-time visibility and efficient operations. Notably, a substantial number of C-level executives expressed the need for a singular solution that delivers immediate ROI from AI investments, highlighting concerns over the current fragmentation in AI applications.
At the conference, Extreme Networks revealed that more than 130 companies are developing use cases for Platform One, enhancing visibility, control, and efficiency across networks.
Bukhari noted that companies complained of AI being limited and disjointed, while C-level executives demanded a streamlined, single platform for AI, networking, and security.
The research showed that 89% of C-level executives wanted a singular platform for AI integration in networking and security, with 79% wanting ROI within two quarters.
Bukhari emphasized that building a product must align with delivering tangible business outcomes, cautioning against 'AI washing' where products are created without real business value.
