""base for innovation and community engagement""
Colt DCS secured approval to expand Hayes Digital Park in West London with a £2.5 billion investment to add three hyperscale data centers and an Innovation Hub in partnership with Brunel University. The new facilities, named London 6, 7 and 8, will run on 100% renewable energy and connect to National Grid contracts that add 97MW, bringing campus capacity to 160MW. Construction is planned to start mid-2026 with London 6 expected live in early 2029. The expansion is projected to create over 500 permanent jobs and support more than 50 technical apprentices over ten years. AECOM will lead Innovation Hub design and the campus will pursue community engagement and heat reuse for district heating.
