"This looks like such a small pad where the garage was. It felt so big,"
"I was so proud of it as an office,"
"now open"
Jamie Siminoff's original garage site in Pacific Palisades was destroyed by January 2025 wildfires. The neighborhood displays extensive damage with fenced empty lots, construction activity, food trucks serving workers, and many businesses not yet reopened. A Ring camera remains mounted on a gate at a demolished home. Siminoff led a memory tour by golf cart, pointing out former school and grocery store sites and noting the eucalyptus scent at the garage pad. Siminoff founded Ring in 2012 after missing package deliveries and sold the company to Amazon for a reported $1 billion in 2018. Ring is partnering with Watch Duty to aid fire-affected residents.
