It features design by Pininfarina and sees Beep and Mobileye as development partners."
"The 580,000 sq ft facility at Eastport Industrial Park is said to be Florida's first production site dedicated to autonomous vehicles. The shuttle "will meet FMVSS (US vehicle safety standards) requirements, complies with specifications under the Build America, Buy America Act (BABA) and is ADA compliant (barrier-free according to US standards)", Holon says."
Holon signed a Term Sheet to construct its first U.S. production facility in Jacksonville, Florida, developed with partner InLight as property owner. The 580,000 sq ft Eastport Industrial Park site is described as Florida's first production facility dedicated to autonomous vehicles, with groundbreaking scheduled for April 2026 and commissioning planned for the second half of 2027. The Holon Urban is a fully electric, ADA-compliant autonomous shuttle that meets FMVSS and BABA specifications, accommodates up to 15 passengers, reaches 60 km/h, and is equipped with lidar, radar, and cameras. Deployment plans include up to 100 shuttles in Downtown Jacksonville under the JTA U²C program and additional U.S. pilots from 2026. Design and development partners include Pininfarina, Beep, Mobileye, and strategic ties to Benteler and Lyft partnerships are anticipated for U.S. service rollouts.
