Carbon Equity opens climate tech investment to retail investors
Briefly

Carbon Equity has unveiled the Access to Climate Tech Fund II, aimed at retail investors with a minimum investment of €20,000. This fund, which is a fund-of-funds, will channel capital into diverse climate-focused projects through private equity and venture capital investments. Prior to this, only high-net-worth individuals could invest. The new fund seeks to support a variety of initiatives, targeting 5 to 10 selected funds that will collectively support over 100 climate projects, each addressing critical sectors such as aviation fuel and battery storage.
The launch of this new fund marks the fulfilment of a long-held wish. When we started over three years ago, we set ourselves the goal of unlocking as much capital as possible from investors to fund the most impactful climate solutions.
Over the past years, we have already been able to welcome more than 1,250 high net-worth investors, and with this lower entry amount of €20,000, even more people can join us to make a difference together.
