Nightly build results on Linux show that almost all previously failing tests are now passing after months of daily failures. A small number of tests failed regularly during the prior period, prompting sustained debugging and fixes. The Linux build now reports an almost entirely green status. A screenshot from the nightly build page highlights the green results. Full buildbot results are available from the summary page for deeper inspection. The successful transition to green builds should improve confidence in the codebase and reduce daily triage overhead. The achievement currently applies to Linux; other platforms may still require fixes. The update ends with an informal sign-off 'cheers, Anto'.
No, we are not going to talk about the environment (i.e., the set of variables as printed by /usr/bin/env. What else? :-)).
After months in which we had a couple of tests failing every day, we finally managed to turn (almost) everything green today, at least on Linux.
Enjoy this screenshoot taken from the nightly build page: As usual, the full buildbot results can be seen from the summary page. cheers, Anto
