Nvidia has officially retired the classic Nvidia Control Panel for GeForce users on Game Ready and Studio Drivers. Supported Control Panel features have been modernized and transitioned to the Nvidia app through recent updates. For RTX PRO users, the Control Panel remains supported until professional features are migrated to the Nvidia app. The legacy Control Panel app will remain installed on PCs unless a clean driver install is performed. If needed, it remains available in the Microsoft Store but receives no new features or fixes. The Nvidia app now supports driver downloads and installs, game settings management, and DLSS mode toggling. A new Game Ready driver was released with optimizations for 007 First Light and support for Lego Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight.
"With the introduction of our most recent Nvidia App update, all actively supported Nvidia Control Panel features for GeForce users have been modernized and transitioned to the new client."
"The legacy Control Panel app will remain installed on people's PCs unless a driver clean install is completed. Even so, if you do need the Control Panel app it will remain in the Microsoft Store, but it won't be getting any new features or fixes."
"Nvidia ported across the majority of important Control Panel features to the Nvidia app last year, and it has become an all-in-one app that can download and install drivers, manage game settings, and toggle different DLSS modes."
