Windows AI Labs provides selected Windows 11 participants early access to experimental AI features, starting with Microsoft Paint. Participants must enable optional diagnostic data via Settings > Privacy & security > Diagnostics & feedback and switch on "Send optional diagnostic data". After enabling diagnostics, users may receive an invite in Paint or find a Windows AI Labs section in Paint settings to sign up. Enrollment is strictly opt-in and users can decline further notices by selecting "Not interested." Microsoft will notify participants when new AI features are available. Invitations currently arrive inconsistently across devices.
