Microsoft issues second emergency patch for Windows this month - update your PC today
Briefly

"On Saturday, Microsoft kicked off its second out-of-band emergency patch of the month. Dubbed KB5078127, this one fixes a problem introduced by the January Patch Tuesday update. Specifically, the update prevented Outlook and other apps from opening files from, or saving files to, cloud-based storage sites such as OneDrive and Dropbox. This meant that Outlook would fail to open for many people who stored their PST files on OneDrive."
"If you are running into trouble trying to open or save files with OneDrive, Dropbox, or other cloud sites, you may want to install this latest patch and keep your fingers crossed that it doesn't introduce any new bugs. Head to Settings and Windows Update, and you should find the KB5078127 update waiting for you. I spotted it on my Windows 11 PC today."
Microsoft released an out-of-band emergency update, KB5078127, to fix a January update issue that prevented Outlook and other apps from opening or saving files to cloud storage services like OneDrive and Dropbox. The patch also bundles earlier out-of-band fixes for remote connections to Windows Cloud devices and Secure Launch, plus security fixes from the Jan. 13 update. Users experiencing cloud file access problems should install KB5078127 via Settings > Windows Update and reboot. Additional post-update glitches continue to appear, including a separate bug that is preventing some Windows PCs from booting.
