Google to unify AI coding tools under Antigravity

Antigravity 2.0 was launched as an agent-first development platform with a new desktop app, Antigravity CLI, expanded SDK capabilities, and deeper integration with the Gemini Enterprise Agent Platform. Google began consolidating existing AI coding tools under the Antigravity umbrella, aiming to unify overlapping offerings into a single product for multi-agent development. The consolidation is expected to reduce procurement, integration, and governance challenges by simplifying how enterprise teams adopt and manage AI coding assistants, CLIs, agents, and developer workflows. Analysts note that overlapping tools previously lacked shared backend infrastructure.
