Google is adding social channel reporting to Search Console Insights, enabling review of search performance for social channels associated with a website. The report provides total reach, content performance, search queries driving users to social profiles, audience location, and additional traffic sources such as Image, Video, News, and Discover. The rollout is limited and not all sites will see the feature yet, and significant reporting delays remain. At initial stage, Search Console automatically identifies eligible sites and channels and prompts site owners to add those social channels to the Insights report. Initial support includes TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube.
