Why you should quit your job and change the world podcast
Briefly

Rutger Bregman, in his work on moral ambition, highlights the widespread issue of underutilized talent in society. He criticizes 'bullshit jobs' that keep capable individuals from addressing crucial global issues. Bregman suggests that individuals in high-skill professions like banking and law, currently aiding wealthy interests, should redirect their efforts to fight tax evasion and other societal challenges. To support this transition, he has established the School for Moral Ambition, aiming to align talent with meaningful social causes, allowing them to contribute significantly to the community.
Moral ambition is the desire to stand on the right side of history before it is fashionable, to basically devote your career, your life, to some of the most pressing issues that we face as a species.
What I see is an enormous waste of talent. So many people who could go on and do great things, who are stuck in cubicles, writing reports no one's ever going to read.

You also need the radical nerds who understand everything about all the loopholes and make all the difference.
