A 17-year-old boy was detained for the brutal torture and killing of two kittens found in a Ruislip wooded area. The kittens were discovered cut open, with ropes attached, and showed signs of severe mutilation. Witnesses reported a horrific scene, and the boy, alongside a 17-year-old girl, pleaded guilty to causing unnecessary suffering to the animals. The boy received a 12-month detention and training order, with the judge emphasizing the premeditated nature of his actions and lack of empathy. A passerby observed him with a live animal carrier before the incident came to light.
The court heard the teenager had also dreamed of killing a human and getting away with murder.
Both kittens were dead and there were pieces of flesh and fur which appeared to be burned off them.
