Analyzing data from over 2 million people across various countries, the study shows a small but stable link between higher social class and prosocial behavior. This finding counters the conventional portrayal of rich individuals as selfish or greedy, while highlighting that wealthier people have more means to contribute to charitable actions and volunteer work without diminishing the goodwill prevalent across all socio-economic classes.
