"People who have been targeted have suffered smears, disinformation, harassment, doxing (having private or identifying information published online), visa cancellations, financial blacklisting, loss of employment and arrest, according to the European Legal Support Center, which along with the research group Forensic Architecture has created the index of repression."

"Students, academics and teachers, (336) appear most frequently on the index as targets of repression, followed by activists and organisers (229 incidents). The report says they are often targeted in different ways with artists and cultural workers (71 incidents) often having events cancelled."

The European Legal Support Center and Forensic Architecture documented more than 900 instances of repression targeting Palestinian solidarity supporters across Britain over six years. Victims experienced smears, harassment, doxing, visa cancellations, financial blacklisting, job loss, and arrest. Police accounted for 220 incidents, followed by educational institutions with 192, and pro-Israel advocacy groups and media with 141 each. Students, academics, and teachers comprised the largest target group at 336 cases, followed by activists and organizers at 229. Artists and cultural workers faced 71 incidents, often involving event cancellations. The repression operates as an organic, self-reinforcing system designed to increase personal costs for those advocating Palestinian causes and reduce civil society's capacity to address alleged atrocities.
