Final Stop - The BQE on September 24 brings local residents, community leaders, and advocates together to focus on equity, justice, and reinvestment for communities affected by anti-cannabis enforcement. CJEI operates as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit providing training, education, workforce development, and legal support through a 16-Week Training Program and Justice Lab. The event features a community conversation with Matthew Wilson, Director of the Community Reinvestment Fund at the New York State Office of Cannabis Management. The Community Reinvestment Program channels grant dollars to grassroots organizations, housing, childcare, after-school programs, and workforce training, and funds are not limited to cannabis projects.
