Paul Mullin became a central figure as Wrexham earned back-to-back promotions, contributing 62 league goals across those campaigns. Injuries and surgery disrupted his following season, limiting him to fewer than half of the club's league starts and three goals. As Wrexham achieved a third straight promotion into the Championship, Mullin was deemed surplus and loaned first to Wigan Athletic and then to Bradford City for the remainder of the season. Mullin described the last 18 months as challenging and said he will not accept how he was sidelined. Wrexham remain in contention for further promotion to the Premier League.
