Australia will host the AFC Women's Asian Cup from March 1–21, 2026, featuring 12 nations and 27 matches across three venues in Perth, Sydney and the Gold Coast. Perth Stadium (60,000) will stage the opening match featuring the Matildas and one semi-final, while Perth Rectangular Stadium (20,500) will host six group matches and two quarter-finals. In Sydney, Stadium Australia (79,500) will host a Matildas group match, two quarter-finals, a semi-final and the final, and Western Sydney Stadium (30,000) will stage six group matches. Gold Coast Stadium (28,000) will host four group matches. China enter as reigning champions with nine titles. Australia was chosen as host after other bids withdrew, with selection confirmed in March 2024.
