Sadio Mané grew up in Bambali, Senegal, playing on red earth streets and watching Liverpool's 2005 Champions League comeback at age 13. He has since won the Champions League and Premier League with Liverpool and scored the winning penalty as Senegal lifted the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations. A stadium in Sedhiou was named after him following that triumph. Mané has the chance to win a second Afcon title when Senegal face Morocco in Rabat. Now 33 and playing for Al-Nassr in Saudi Arabia, Mané suggested this could be his last Afcon, while teammates aim to convince him to continue.
