"Coming to Dallas, I was coming in with the mindset of being a sponge and just taking everything in and training with pros, Moore told The Athletic."
"[Scoring my debut goal] was like a dream come true, really, and it was just amazing having the team there and celebrating."
Rhea Moore, aged 15 years and 332 days, made her professional debut for Dallas Trinity in a USL Super League match against Sporting Jacksonville. She entered the match in the 74th minute and scored seven minutes later with a powerful near-post shot after recovering the ball on the edge of the box, securing a 1–0 victory. The goal made her the youngest scorer in U.S. women's professional soccer, breaking a record set one week earlier by 16-year-old KK Ream of the Utah Royals. Moore grew up in Sacramento, starred for San Juan Soccer Club, joined Dallas Trinity on July 9, and earned ODP National Select Team honors in 2023. Coach Chris Petrucelli recruited her after noting family vision and individual skill.
