When Im 75 or 76, I will quit - Guardiola says Man City exit not yet on the cards - Soccer News
"Sooner or later, when I'm 75 or 76, I will quit Manchester City! I understand the question when I have the end of a contract, but I have 18 months left and I am so delighted and excited about the development of the team and being here. That is all I can say. That question happens every single season at a certain point, and I'm okay."
"The club and I are incredibly connected in terms of the decisions we have to take and when it's going to happen [a parting of ways], it's going to happen."
"There are no discussions - end of subject. There are no discussions."
Pep Guardiola dismissed suggestions he will leave Manchester City at the end of the current season, saying he plans to quit when he is 75 or 76. He signed a two-year contract extension in November 2024 that runs until the end of 2026–27 and has 18 months remaining on that deal. Next year will mark his tenth anniversary as City manager, and 55.3% of his managerial games have been with the club (558 of 1,008). Guardiola said he feels delighted and excited about the team's development, denied any talks over further extensions, and emphasized close alignment with the club on timing of any departure.
