"I've missed the feeling of playing games,"
"I'm used to being a regular starter for so many years and it's been a bit difficult with the transition but I think I've dealt with it fairly well."
"short term, there won't be too much of an issue"
Andy Robertson has been named Liverpool vice-captain this season after a self-confessed 'difficult summer'. Milos Kerkez's arrival from Bournemouth has pushed Robertson to second choice at Anfield for the first time since he signed eight years ago. The 31-year-old has played just 30 Premier League minutes this term and may lack match sharpness for World Cup qualifiers against Denmark and Belarus. Robertson said he had missed playing games and that transitioning from regular starter had been difficult but manageable. Pundit James McFadden believes short-term issues are unlikely, but prolonged benching could create problems. Robertson is in the final year of his contract while Kerkez joined on a reported £40m, five-year deal.
