""Rosi's transition into the professional game is monumental for her, but what we have achieved together is truly remarkable. "Providing her with the opportunity to enter the men's game was never in question and she has been outstanding in her time here. "As a coach and as a person, she is exceptional.""
""While we are genuinely sad to see her move on from the men's section, this is an opportunity she simply must embrace. I have no doubt she will find success," said Banks. "She holds our club close to her heart, and the respect she has earned from all the players is immense. "Good luck, Rosi. Go and make it happen.""
Rosi Webb has left her role as manager of Stanway Pegasus after six years to take charge of Charlton Athletic's Women's Under-21 squad. Webb holds a Uefa A licence and was one of the few female coaches managing a men's team in England. Stanway sit sixth in the Eastern Counties League Division One North, one point outside the play-off places, and Webb will continue to help with the club's women's team. Club owner Ian Booth and others praised her coaching and character. Holders of an A licence can coach up to the Championship, while a Pro licence is required for the top flight.
