""We have Oscars Kids, an incredible charity to help families up and down the country in extremely difficult times. This is a small way that we can help them out and it'll go a long way to helping kids and families up and down the country.""
Stephen Bradley and assistant Glenn Cronin completed the Dublin City Marathon to raise funds for Oscar's Kids and then flew by helicopter to Derry for a 3pm title-deciding match. Aoife, Glenn's daughter, and Josh, Stephen's son, were affected by cancer, and their names were written on arms as motivation during the race. The pair finished in under four hours. The course was described as incredibly hard and the crowd support was strong and encouraging. The run raised significant funds for Oscar's Kids to support families facing childhood cancer. The event highlighted public support and fundraising impact.
