Union have seven points from six matches after facing Borussia Dortmund, Eintracht Frankfurt and Bayer Leverkusen away, and have only one home win, 2-1 over Stuttgart. Borussia Monchengladbach remain winless this season and are on a club-record 13-match winless run; manager Gerardo Seoane was sacked and sporting director Roland Virkus resigned.
