"With experience and quality"
"I told Christian [Hoffenheim coach] that they were better than us in the first half. We showed a reaction in the second half and played very well. I'm very happy with the win."
Bayern Munich beat Hoffenheim 4-1 under coach Vincent Kompany. Harry Kane scored three goals and Serge Gnabry added one. Kompany said the team improved after halftime, citing experience and quality and acknowledging Hoffenheim had been better in the first half. The victory kept Bayern on a 100% record across all competitions and left them as the only Bundesliga side with wins in every game so far. Bayern will have a week off before hosting Werder Bremen at the Allianz Arena, then travel to Pafos, Cyprus, for a Champions League away match. Bavarian Podcast Works offers further coverage.
