Neither team scored until Delgado used an assist from newcomer Son Heung-Min in the 51st minute to score his third goal of the season."

Choinière scored his first goal in his second appearance for LAFC after scoring 11 goals in 119 appearances for CF Montreal from 2018-2024. Nathan Ordaz also recorded an assist after replacing David Martínez. Matt Turner made four saves for New England. LAFC ended three straight draws and improved to 1-1-2 on artificial turf. LAFC will travel to Dallas; New England will play Columbus.
