USMNT prospect Wiley sent on loan to Watford

Caleb Wiley, a 20-year-old left back, was loaned from Chelsea to Watford after an injury caused by dislocating his shoulder during a match against Nice. He had initially joined Chelsea from Atlanta United for around $11 million and spent the first half of the 2024-25 season on loan at Strasbourg. After making three appearances there, he was sent to Watford, where he made his debut on March 8. Wiley has also represented the U.S. national team and was part of the squad for the last Olympic soccer tournament.
