The May 31 match will be the first meeting between the two nations. The U.S. was drawn into Group D with Paraguay (June 12), Australia (June 19) and the winner of a UEFA playoff (June 25); Senegal was drawn into Group I with France, Norway and the intercontinental playoff winner.
