Tyrique George to Fulham: Chelsea sanction exit of young striker
Briefly

Fulham have agreed a deal to sign 19-year-old winger Tyrique George from Chelsea for an initial £22million, with a sell-on clause and a five-year contract agreed. George made his first appearance of the season as a substitute for Liam Delap in the Stamford Bridge match before being later replaced by Andrey Santos. The move follows transfer activity involving Nicolas Jackson's prospective Bayern Munich transfer and Delap's injury. Chelsea have recouped almost £300m in sales this summer while investing heavily on incoming players, and the sale of George will assist with Premier League PSR requirements. Chelsea recalled Marc Guiu from Sunderland.
Fulham are set to pay an initial £22million for the 19-year-old, who has been offered a five-year deal at Craven Cottage. George is likely to follow Nicolas Jackson out of the door with the Senegal striker's move to Bayern Munich back on after hitting a snag over the weekend when Liam Delap sustained an injury against Fulham at Stamford Bridge.
That game saw George make his first appearance of the season as he came on for Delap before later being taken off himself for Andrey Santos. His departure will disappoint many supporters with George joining Chelsea at under-eight level and progressing through the ranks. His sale will help Chelsea with their PSR requirements, though, after another hectic summer for Enzo Maresca's side.
