Thomas Frank has added John Heitinga to Tottenham's coaching staff as an assistant coach with primary responsibility for defensive coaching on the training pitch. Heitinga previously coached at West Ham and Liverpool, contributing to Liverpool's Premier League title under Arne Slot, and briefly managed Ajax before a five-month tenure that ended after a Champions League defeat to Galatasaray. Tottenham sit 14th in the Premier League with one win in six matches and recent FA Cup elimination by Aston Villa. Carlos Raphael Moersen, known as Rafi, joins from City Football Group as director of football operations to lead football administration, player care, and training ground operations.
