Fans at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium booed Vicario following the mistake, prompting manager Thomas Frank to describe the booing as completely unacceptable and to say those who booed 'can't be true Tottenham fans'. Tottenham have just one Premier League home win under Frank and have suffered their 10th home league loss of 2025. The club sits 12th with 18 points from 13 games. Frank called for unity between fans, team and staff to create a difficult place for opponents to play.
