"Um ciclo que nunca foi fechado. Agora sim De volta ao FC Porto para ser feliz #SeguimosJuntos"
Thiago Silva, aged 41, has signed for FC Porto until the end of the 2025–26 season after terminating his Fluminense contract six months early. The move to Portugal follows links to a Chelsea return and is motivated by Silva's intention to play at next summer's World Cup. Silva previously represented Porto in 2004–05 with 14 appearances for Porto B before moving to Dynamo Moscow. He arrives with 31 trophies, including the 2021 Champions League won at the Estadio do Dragao. Silva spent eight years at Paris Saint-Germain, made 155 appearances for Chelsea, and recently captained Fluminense at the Club World Cup. His Porto debut could come Monday as the club seeks to extend a five-point lead.
