Adidas has released remakes of Lionel Messi's Argentina 2006 home and away shirts, plus a track jacket and a Team Mode collection. The designs use the Teamgeist template with a 1970s-inspired thick continental typeface and sweeping, infinity-like shapes across the kits. The shirts retain only the two stars above the badge that reflected Argentina's status in 2006, despite Messi earning a third star in 2022. All tops in the drop are sold only with Messi on the back and carry his 2006 squad number, 19, because Juan Roman Riquelme wore number 10 that tournament.
