Son and Muller celebrate first MLS goals

Son Heung-min scored a stunning free-kick six minutes into his second start for Los Angeles FC, giving them a 1-1 draw with FC Dallas. The goal was his third appearance since leaving the Premier League after a ten-year spell for a record MLS fee exceeding $20m. Son said he was glad to score but prioritized earning three points and acknowledged disappointment at the draw while noting he needs time to connect with the team during his first weeks. Thomas Müller converted a stoppage-time penalty to secure a dramatic 3-2 victory for Vancouver Whitecaps in his first start as captain.
