Olivia Smith scored a long-range goal on her Arsenal debut as Arsenal recovered from an early deficit to beat London City Lionesses 4-1 in the Women's Super League opener. Chloe Kelly, Stina Blackstenius and Frida Maanum added the other goals to secure the victory and place Arsenal top of the early standings. Smith joined Arsenal for a reported £1m from Liverpool and produced four shots with two on target while registering nine touches in the opposition box.
