Pep Guardiola will reach 1,000 matches as a manager when Manchester City host Liverpool. Guardiola has led Manchester City to six Premier League titles and a Champions League and has won 715 of his 999 games so far. Sir Alex Ferguson welcomed Guardiola into the LMA Hall of Fame 1,000 Club and praised his deep love for the game, longevity, and success across Europe. Guardiola began his managerial career with Barcelona B, progressed to Barcelona's first team, then managed Bayern Munich before joining Manchester City in 2016.
