Scotland confirm Japan and Curacao Hampden friendlies
"We're also looking forward to welcoming Curacao to Glasgow, which should give us a feel for the CONCACAF federation before our game against Haiti,"
"It will be great to meet up with the squad for the first time since that crazy, momentous night, when they took us back to the World Cup after such a long time,"
"We can spend the first day reminiscing but then it's back to the serious business of preparing for the summer."
Scotland will play Japan at Hampden on 28 March (17:00 GMT) and Curacao in Glasgow on 30 May (13:00 BST) as final home warm-ups before the World Cup in the Americas. Japan are ranked 18th under Hajime Moriyasu, placing them 18 places above Scotland. Curacao are ranked 82 and are coached by Dick Advocaat, offering a CONCACAF-style opponent ahead of Scotland's group match with Haiti. Scotland have met Japan three times, last losing 2-0 in Yokohama in 2009. The Hampden fixtures mark the first squad reunion since the 4-2 win over Denmark that sealed qualification. Two away friendlies will be confirmed shortly.
