A 90-minute dramatisation stars Steve Coogan as Mick McCarthy and Eanna Hardwicke as Roy Keane. The film portrays Keane's mounting frustration with the Republic of Ireland's preparations for the 2002 World Cup, citing poor pitches, perceived lack of equipment and a drinking culture among the squad. Keane left the team days before the tournament in Japan and South Korea. Former goalkeeper Dean Kiely, who was part of the squad, said the camp was not a 'jolly', stressed that many players were top Premier League professionals, confirmed training took place and that footballs were available.
