"never seen in all my years in football"
"For the first time in my career, I didn't know what to say or what to do,"
"I've never seen anything like it. I come from the streets, I'm used to fights, but I've never seen anything like this."
Jonathan Rowe has completed a four-year transfer to Serie A side Bologna, with Italian media reporting a fee of €19.5m. The 22-year-old forward joined Marseille initially on loan from Norwich in August 2024, made the move permanent this summer, and scored three goals in 31 appearances. Rowe and 30-year-old Adrien Rabiot were transfer-listed by Marseille after clashing at the end of the club's 1-0 opening Ligue 1 defeat at Rennes on 15 August. Marseille boss Roberto de Zerbi described the incident as unprecedented in his career. Rowe scored the extra-time winner as England secured the U21 Euros crown in June. Bologna lost 1-0 at Roma in their Serie A opener.
