Ronaldo after new Al Nassr deal: 'No finish line'
Briefly

Cristiano Ronaldo has extended his contract with Al Nassr for two more years, showcasing his enduring ambition in football. The 40-year-old expressed that his drive for success has no limits, prioritizing collective effort and commitment as essential to improvement. Despite dominating individual scoring stats, he has faced challenges with team performance, winning only the Arab Club Champions Cup since his arrival in 2022. His focus is now on achieving significant personal and team milestones, including approaching a career total of 1,000 goals. He also recently celebrated a title win with Portugal, emphasizing national pride over club success.
“The ambition I feel has no finish line,” Ronaldo, 40, told Record. “It is consistency, commitment, and collective work that will make us better. And that is the task I am here for. We are starting a new chapter!”
Ronaldo has scored 93 goals in 105 matches for Al Nassr but has only won the Arab Club Champions Cup since joining in 2022.
“I have many titles with clubs, but nothing is better than winning for Portugal,” a tearful Ronaldo said after lifting the trophy.
The new deal with Al Nassr will allow the five-time Ballon d'Or winner to continue reaching the 1,000-goal milestone in his career.
