Reports say Bayern Munich's Daniel Peretz headed to Southampton, along with option to buy
"On Wednesday, reports began to surface that Bayern Munich goalkeeper Daniel Peretz would be recalled from his loan with Hamburger SV and be sent right back out the door to Southampton. A day later, Sky Germany's Florian Plettenberg says the move is a "done deal":"
"🚨💥 Daniel #Peretz to Southampton - DONE DEAL ✔️ Medical currently taking place at Southampton. Full agreement reached with FC Bayern. 6-month loan move with an option to buy. #SaintsFC"
"🚨🔴⚪️ Southampton will hold an option to buy around €8m as they are set to complete Daniel Peretz loan move from Bayern Munich. Peretz was high on Saints' list as reported yesterday. #SaintsFC #FCBayern after @Plettigoal"
Daniel Peretz will be recalled from his loan at Hamburger SV and immediately loaned to Southampton for six months. A medical is taking place in Southampton and a full agreement with Bayern Munich is in place. The loan includes an option for Southampton to buy Peretz for around €8 million. Peretz was a high-priority target for Southampton and is an Israeli international goalkeeper under contract with Bayern Munich. The arrangement lets Southampton strengthen its goalkeeping options mid-season while preserving a potential permanent transfer route through the buy option.
