"According to a report from transfer expert Fabrizio Romano (as captured by @iMiaSanMia), Bayern Munich could seek to send Ecuadorian center-back Virgilio Olaya to Grasshopper Club Zürich. In addition, Romano is also reporting that Bayern Munich outgunned a "European giant in England" to bring in Olaya: Grasshopper Club Zürich is an option for Virgilio Olaya to join on loan, but not the only one."
"Romano initially reported that the deal between Bayern Munich and SD Aucas was complete on Monday, but now it looks like concrete plans are falling into place for the 17-year-old. Olaya could become the latest Bayern Munich player to head to Grasshopper for some season. So far, Nestory Irankunda (sold to Watford), Lovro Zvonarek (currently on loan with Grasshopper), Jonathan Asp Jensen (currently on loan with Grasshopper), and Grayson Dettoni (recalled from loan at Grasshopper last season)."
Bayern Munich could loan 17-year-old Ecuadorian center-back Virgilio Olaya to Grasshopper Club Zürich as one of several options under consideration. Bayern secured the player's transfer ahead of a major English club that had also shown interest. Initial indications showed the deal between Bayern and SD Aucas was complete on Monday, and concrete plans are now falling into place for the teenager. Olaya may join Grasshopper on loan. Bayern has previously sent or loaned other players to Grasshopper, including Nestory Irankunda (sold to Watford), Lovro Zvonarek (on loan), Jonathan Asp Jensen (on loan), and Grayson Dettoni (recalled last season).
