Report: Bayern Munich, Hamburger SV, Southampton nearing 'imminent' resolution on Daniel Peretz
"Bayern and HSV are close to reaching an agreement regarding the termination of Daniel Peretz's loan. As a compensation, HSV would not pay Bayern any fee for the 6-month loan (loan fee agreed last summer was €400-500k for the season)."
"While this move does not officially close the book on Peretz's career with Bayern Munich, it does pave the way for Peretz to eventually leave on a permanent basis. With no chance of being the future No. 1 in Bavaria, it is truly the best option to attempt to get Peretz to a club where he can play and hopefully market himself for a future transfer."
Bayern Munich is coordinating with Hamburger SV and Southampton to terminate Daniel Peretz's loan at HSV. HSV would forego the agreed loan fee for the remaining six months, and Southampton will pay a higher fee to Bayern for that period. A deal is imminent and Peretz could travel to England immediately on loan. The move creates a pathway for Peretz to leave Bayern permanently, since he has no realistic chance to become Bayern's long-term No. 1 goalkeeper. Peretz's current contract with Bayern runs until 2028.
