HSV would forego the agreed loan fee for the remaining six months, and Southampton will pay a higher fee to Bayern for that period. A deal is imminent and Peretz could travel to England immediately on loan. The move creates a pathway for Peretz to leave Bayern permanently, since he has no realistic chance to become Bayern's long-term No. 1 goalkeeper. Peretz's current contract with Bayern runs until 2028.
