Paul Tierney will referee Arsenal's match against Wolves, marking his first Arsenal fixture since May 2024. The match is scheduled midweek to ease fixture congestion after Arsenal avoided the Champions League play-off round and reached a League Cup final. Wolves narrowly lost the reverse fixture in December via a 94th-minute Yerson Mosquera own goal. Tierney missed almost all of 2024/25 through injury and returned in December when Manchester City hosted West Ham. Tierney has officiated 21 Arsenal matches: ten wins, five draws, six losses; he has awarded nine penalties in those matches and shown four red cards, three to Arsenal players. Michael Salisbury will operate VAR.
