Tuur Rommens, a 22-year-old Belgian left-back, has joined Rangers on a three-and-a-half-year contract from Westerlo. He provides competition at left-back alongside Jayden Meghoma. Rommens progressed through Genk's academy before returning to Westerlo in 2023, and he has one goal and nine assists in 79 Belgian Pro League appearances, plus nine Belgium under-21 caps. Feyenoord showed summer interest. His current head coach, Issame Charai, previously served as Philippe Clement's assistant at Ibrox, so Rommens is likely aware of club size and expectations. Scouting notes praise his one-v-one defending, crossing, passing, aerial ability and forward play while noting limited pace and flair.
