"A child was injured as a result of the Rangers display at Rugby Park. Hibs supporters 'threw devices towards players and staff of the home club' at Fir Park. Rangers and Motherwell have had their away allocations reduced by 50 tickets for one match and face the threat of doubled penalties after repeated breaches of SPFL pyrotechnics rules, while Aberdeen and Hibernian were given suspended penalties. The SPFL found all four clubs failed, as far as reasonably practicable, to prevent supporters engaging in unacceptable conduct and failed to identify or discipline those responsible. Sanctions apply to Rangers' trip to Hibs on 1 February and Motherwell's trip to Dundee on 4 February, with both clubs required to pay the cost of the 50 missing tickets. Investigations cited multiple recent matches with organised illegal pyrotechnic displays, injuries to children, pitch damage, respiratory issues and health-and-safety risks to spectators, players and staff.
