Over the past 21 years ten footballers have competed on Strictly Come Dancing across 23 series. Two additional ex-footballers competed this year, with one reaching the semi-final. Several footballers and managers traded football fixtures, tackles and chants for ballroom routines including the Foxtrot, Tango and Cha-Cha-Cha.
