"Paris Saint-Germain delivered one of the most dominant wins in the history of Le Classique, dismantling Marseille 5-0 at the Parc des Princes on Sunday night. The opening stages saw Marseille press high, attempting to disrupt PSG's build-up. They created the first clear opportunity when Amine Gouiri met a driven cross inside the six-yard box, but goalkeeper Matvey Safonov reacted sharply to deny him from close range."
"The second goal arrived in the 37th minute when a defensive error from Leonardo Balerdi allowed Dembele to race through, shift away from pressure and drive a powerful shot inside the near post for 2-0 at the break. Marseille attempted to increase attacking numbers after the restart but became increasingly exposed. PSG threatened repeatedly, with Doue and Barcola both hitting the woodwork."

Dembele opened the scoring in the 12th minute following Nuno Mendes's assist and added a second in the 37th after a defensive error by Leonardo Balerdi. A Joao Neves volley led to an own goal by Facundo Medina, Kvaratskhelia volleyed home from Dembele's pass, and substitute Kang-In Lee finished from Senny Mayulu's pass to complete the scoring.
