Inter are expected to use a 3-5-2 setup featuring Yann Sommer; Pavard, Acerbi, Bastoni; Dumfries, Sucic, Barella, Mkhitaryan, Dimarco; Thuram and Lautaro. Udinese are a mid-table side under Kosta Runjaic, finishing 12th last season and adding new signings to strengthen the squad.
Simone Inzaghi is no longer the manager of Inter, who are now under the management of Cristian Chivu. The Milanese giants have been active in the summer transfer window, securing the services of Luis Henrique, Andy Diouf and Peter Sucic among others.
